Promenade is among the longest-running chamber music groups in the Italian music scene, in fact it saw the light in 1982 , on the initiative of a young group of musicians trained at the G.Verdi Conservatory in Milan. After winning important national and international competitions, in its 40 years of concert activity, Promenade is regularly invited to important seasons and concert halls including: the Museo Teatrale alla Scala with whom he has collaborated for years, the Società dei Concerti of Milan, the Teatro Filodrammatici, La Società Umanitaria of Milan, Pantelleria Festival, Gli Amici della Musica of Lodi, the Società dei Concerti of La Spezia, the Palazzo Grassi of Venice, the Locarno Festival, the Sala di Vittorio at the Milan Chamber of Labor In addition to its repertoire of original pieces for wind quintet, the group also performs a series of transcriptions of celebrated pieces and contemporary music compositions written and dedicated to Promenade.
