Edition XXXV (35):
2025 – Convivenze

The XXXV edition of Piedicavallo Festival, Convivences, investigates the different forms of distance that inhabits every encounter. What was thought to be familiar-a place, a person, a memory-always reveals new nuances, which sometimes appear irreconcilable.
Convivences frames these distances as opportunities for knowledge: thresholds to cross, ways to listen and to inhabit the world together.
The festival is divided into two distinct sections: SARV, the historical review dedicated to classical and contemporary music, and LÜRIA, a space for sound and performance experimentation created in 2021.
From August 2 to 16, 2025, SARV inhabits the Alta Valle Cervo with a program of widespread concerts, inviting the public to travel the territory while listening to its resonances. “Sarv” comes from the ancient name of the stream that runs through the valley: a continuous flow that accompanies the musical journey, from the harmonies of bel canto to the vibrations of jazz.
From Aug. 22 to 24, LÜRIA invites you to stop by Piedicavallo, a small mountain village in the province of Biella, where an immersive artistic ecosystem takes shape: concerts, performances, live sets and sound practices intertwine with the place according to a daytime artistic narrative. “Lüria” recalls the mysterious goddess of the Cervo Creek in local legends, a symbol of otherness and natural strength.
