The Goldberg piano trio sees its official birth in 2021, but it is the natural fruit of the intense and now long-lasting musical collaboration, as well as great friendship, between Riccardo Bisatti, Anna Molinari and Lucia Molinari. Three young musicians with broad and diverse backgrounds who see chamber music as the ideal place for expression, exchange, deepening and growth. The Novara musicians have seen their paths meet in chamber duo and trio projects since their training period at the Conservatorio “Cantelli” in Novara, and then also developed on a regular basis in the contexts of the Società del Quartetto in Bergamo, Piedicavallo Festival, Microludi Cislago, Teatro Coccia and Musica in Scena Novara. The ensemble is also an active part of the Iri da Iri Ensemble, which in Novara is responsible for the programming, performance and cultural promotion of the chamber music season “Musica in Scena.” The name “Goldberg” is meant to be a tribute to the famous Variations BWV 988 by the immense Johann Sebastian Bach, a work with sophisticated and complex architecture of grandiose modernity and expressive power.
