Maria Violenza was born in Palermo and lives in Rome. He plays a synthesis of synth-punk and Arabic melodies, with elements that draw on Caribbean sounds and distorted atmospheres. After several projects and collaborations-including Tropical Violence, together with the Tropicantesimo collective-he comes up with a selection of records that reflects the breadth of his musical archive.
