Alessandro Flecchia is a PhD researcher in Dialectology and Sociolinguistics at the University of Turin and LMU Munich. His research focuses on linguistic and dialect contact, with particular attention to the Biella area. Loup Uberto (picture) is a French musician, documentary filmmaker and sound recordist of Biellese origin. His long-term research project, Le barche, explores the fragility of memory and the sense of absence as sources of both individual and collective richness. His work is rooted in field recording across the Mediterranean, where he collects voices, stories and folk songs from everyday life. The workshop is free and led by Alessandro Flecchia with Loup Uberto, in collaboration with Casa Museo dell’Alta Valle del Cervo.
